Thanks for joining me! My name is Amber Drummond and I am looking into the contemporary applications of mathematics. I will be focusing on these within various classroom environments around australia as well as the world. I hope to gain an understanding of the different applications used as well as reasons for this differentation. Why is this important in classrooms? and how the different applications work amonst the cohort of students within each area. For example a rural indigenous community, with limited access to technology will run vastly different programs to those in a private school ocated within a major city.
